Player: Here you have to write your name

Campaign: For this, you have to ask your dungeon master. Here the campaign name will come

Character Creation Date: Here you have to give the date that means on which date you did create this character.

Current XP(experience points):  The experience points will come automatically after each adventure. The dungeon master will tell you about your character experience points at the end of the adventure.

Next Level Goal:  This option is about how much points you need to have in advance to go to the next level. You should earn 300 points in advance to go for the second level from the first level

CHARACTER

Name: You have to give a name to your character here. You can ask your dungeon master about your character name. He will give some advice on your question.

Race: There are several types are there in the race such as Dwarf, Elf, Halfling, Human, Dragonborn, Gnome, Half-Elf, Half-Orc, or Tiefling. You have to enter any race above of them. Sometimes the campaign world may not have all of them

Class:  In this box, your character class will come. You can choose them from barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, Warlock or Wizard.

Alignment: In this game the following alignments are there such as  Lawful good (LG), Neutral good (NG), Chaotic good (CG), Lawful neutral (LN), Neutral (N), Chaotic neutral (CN), Lawful evil (LE), Neutral evil (NE), and Chaotic evil (CE). You must observe one thing about the alignment is that your dungeon master will not allow an evil-aligned player, except this you can use any of them.

Sex:  This game won’t do any favor to the gender. So you can write Male or Female

Level:  You can play the game from the first level to 20th level, you cannot play more than 20 th level.. When you enter a number in the level box the other fields will be filled.

Size: The size depends on your character’s race. The gnome’s and halflings are small in size(s), Remaining are medium in size(M)

Age:  You have to enter the age of your character here

Height: You can choose any height which is suitable to your race

Speed:  You can move the following feets in one combat round they are Dwarf 25 (it doesn’t reduce wearing of heavy armor), Elf 30, Wood Elf 35, Halfling 25, Human 30, Dragonborn 30, Gnome 25, Half-elf 30, Half-Orc 30, Tiefling 30.

When your character strength score is less than the armor when wearing the heavy armor then your character speed is reduced by 10

Initiative:    If you want this initiative modifier you have to roll your character initiative at the starting of combat after that you have to add this to your initiative roll. Your initiative modifier will become same, like your dexterity modifier unless your character has some feature or ability which affects this.

Initiative Adjustment: You have to click on the word “DEX” which lies below of the initiative box and enter a number when any of feature of this game grants your character bonus to his initiative modifier finally this number will be added to your initiative modifier.

ABILITIES:

Ability Score: You have to determine your character ability score by using the method which is given by your dungeon master. According to your character race, you can modify them finally enter the scores in the relevant boxes

Ability Modifier: The modifier will be determined for each ability when subtracting 10 from ability score and the rest of result should be divided by 2 Or you can simply check it in the PHB table

Saving Throws: It is the saving throw modifier of every ability. This is basically a proficiency, you will get this only because of your race. It is same as the ability modifier.

To get the Saving throw modifier you need to check the small box and add your proficiency bonus to your ability modifier. (Saving throw modifier= proficiency bonus+ ability modifier)

ARMOR CLASS:

Armored( What the number you have put in the shield): Usually, this is 10+ armor bonus if wearing armor+shield bonus if using the shield

Add your Dex modifier if wearing light armor

Add your Dex modifier up to a maximum of +2 when wearing medium armor

If you are wearing heavy armor you don’t add your Dex modifier to your armor class.

Without Armor:  10+ Dexterity modifier. Remeber, when the dexterity modifier negative automatically your armor class will become lower

Hit Points: At first level, this will be the highest roll of your hit dice plus constitution modifier. In this box, you can keep listing your hit points

Hit Dice: Here you need to enter what type of hit die your character using and What number of types of hit die you had. In the beginning (first) level your character has 1 hit die. Basically,  type of hit die depends upon your character class such as Bard 1d8, Druid 1d8, Monk 1d8, Rogue 1d8, Warlock 1d8, Cleric 1d8, Wizard 1d6, Barbarian 1d12, Fighter 1d10, Paladin 1d10,Ranger 1d10, Sorcerer 1d6.

Current Hit Points: This box will help you to track the damage. When your character takes damage, It loses hit points.

Temporary Hit points: These temporary hit points can be granted by some magic spells or other game effects. You can list the temporary hit points and can track their loss. You may lose these points before you lose the regular hit points. After finishing a long rest you may lose any temporary hit points which are remaining with you.

Available Hit Dice: For each and every level you have one hit die. You can role one or more than one of these hits die at the end of the short rest. For each die roll, you can recover the indicated number of hit points and your character constitution modifiers.

You may use this box space to keep tracking of a number of hit die remains with you for healing. After a long time, you can regain the number of hit die to half your total number of them or at least of one hit die

Death Saves: You can use this space to track your progress.  If you want to make a death saving throw you have to start your turn with 0 hit points. You must use the 1d20 die to roll and if you roll 10 or more than 10 you will succeed otherwise you will fail.

If you get success third time you become stable or if you get failure third time you will die. The roll of 1 count has one failure, The roll of 20 counts mean that you no longer dying and you can regain 1 hit point.

Advantages: If you are a Dwarf, you have an advantage on saving throws against poison. Like this, it will list any conditions where you get the advantage.

Disadvantages: If your character has size(s) there you have a disadvantage when using the heavy weapons.

Inspiration: The first thing you have to do is keep a check on this when you have got an inspiration. After using this you have to remove the check. Your DM will award character inspiration basically for good role-playing.

You can give your character inspiration to another character or you can use this to get an advantage on any attack roll, saving throw, ability check.

EXHAUSTION

This area will help you to keep track your character level of exhaustion. You can take help from your DM when it eligible to a level of exhaustion.

Proficiency Bonus: Here you have to write proficiency bonus. It will start from +2 from the first level and increases when you enhance your level

Passive Perception: This is your character perception skill bonus modifier +10

Passive Perception adjustment: When game grants you a bonus through its some features to your passive perception modifier (wisdom) Then you have to select on the ‘WIS” left of the box and enter a number. Finally, this number will be added to your passive perception modifier.

PROFICIENCIES

Skills:   Your character has some capacity in certain skills. Place a check in the skills box for each skill. You have to add your proficiency bonus to associated ability modifier and then you will determine the bonus that you apply to these skills checks. You should enter the ability modifier to perform a skill which your character not proficient then it becomes a simple ability check.

X2: Your character would get double proficiency bonus for each and every skill. To get the double proficiency keep a check in the little x2 box which lies right of the skill name. You should add your proficiency bonus to the associated ability modifier when proficiency bonus became double

1/2: This is helpful to you when you are not proficient in, this will add half your proficiency bonus. You have to divide your proficiency bonus with 2 finally add the result to the associated ability modifier.

Skill Adjustment: Mostly some feature of the game will grant a bonus to your skill at that time you can enter a number in the ability listed box and add this number to your associated ability modifier.

Saves: Your character will receive a proficiency bonus for his saving throw at that time you have to list any ability or other saves

Tools: List the tools here to which tool your character is proficient

Weapons: To which weapon your character is proficient that weapon you have to mention here

Armor:  If you wear this armor without having any proficiency that will lead you to have some disadvantage on saving throw, ability check, attack role which involves strength/dexterity and you can not cast spells

Other: Your character doesn’t fit for other categories

Sneak Attack: You can enter extra damage on snake attack when your character is a rogue. You can find this in the 1d6 from the first level

Rages: This rage will be 2 at first level and you can enter the number of times and your character can rage between long rests. This will happen only when your character is a rogue.

KI points: You can enter many times of KI points if your character is a monk. This will be available in the second level and you can get two.

Martial arts: When you are doing fight with an unarmed strike or with monk weapon then you can enter the amount of damage which was done by you. But this will happen only when your character is a monk and this will be1d4 at first level

Weapon Boxes

There is a room for weapons in that room you can list up to five weapons. If you have more weapons with you than the five weapons there you have to take an additional sheet print out.

Weapon:  You have to write a description of your weapon in the box which lies under the word “Weapon”. Space remains for you to write extra information about the weapon, this space is remaining on the right side of the word “Weapon”. You can write your weapon name or description about your weapon.

Reach Or Range: Actually, the melee weapons can reach up to five feats but when it comes to “REACH” property it can increase up to 10 feats.

Type: Here you can see the type of damage. They are as follows slashing (S) or, Piercing (P), bludgeoning (B)

Ability( STR or DEX):  We mostly interact with two weapons from here they are melee weapons, range weapons. The melee weapons use strength modifier, range weapons use dexterity modifier of yours.

But if you want to your melee weapon use dexterity modifier then your melee weapon must be with finesse property, if you want to your range weapon use strength modifier then your range weapon must be with the thrown property and if you want to know about your next ability you have to check the box.

Proficiency: If your character has a proficiency by the weapon, check the small box and write your proficiency bonus details in the large box

STR/DEX:  This is also one kind of weapon. In this box, you have to enter the appropriate ability modifier. When you are doing battle with two weapons then this weapon is your second light weapon. If you damage anything with this weapon, you wouldn’t get ability bonus for this you must remove the check between the damage and attack boxes. You should not enter the ability modifier for any damage.

Magic: You have to enter this details in both the attack and damage rows. It should be done when your weapon receives a magic adjustment.

Misc: You can enter any extra penalties or bonuses to attack or damage
Attack Bonus: Here you have to add all your attack adjustments and enter the total amount here. You can add this bonus to your attack rolls.

Damage Bonus:  Here you have to add all your damage adjustments and enter the total amount here. You can add this bonus to your damage rolls

Damage Dice: First you have to give/write a number and what type of die you are using to roll for damage. If you want to use a longsword you have to enter 1d8 (1d10).

Ammo:  You can use this Ammo or ammunition for weapons. If you spend ammunition during the battle you can recover this how means when you take some time after a battle you may recover half of your ammunition from what you have expended during the battle

Update Calculations:  Whatever information has given by you it will automatically update or calculate all your data what you have done changes but sometimes it doesn’t update your data.

Clear: This option will help you to erase all your data with one click. But be care full of this option why because it will erase all your data with one sudden click. If you want to get back your data you can get back it by pressing ctrl z

Weight: All standard shields weight up to 6 lb
AC: This is the armor class, all shields will give +2 to your armor class

TREASURE

With this, you have a chance to keep track your character’s monetary and magical possessions like CP (Copper Pieces), SP(Silver Pieces),  EP (Electrum Pieces), GP (Gold Pieces) and PP (Platinum Pieces). You can find space for Jewels&Gems, Magic items and other items.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Genger, Handedness: You will not suffer from the penalty or you won’t get any advantage while choosing anything so it depends upon your choice

Age, Height, Weight, Eyes, Hair, Skin:   In your player’s handbook character race guide is there. So you can use that description as a guide for age, height, weight,..etc

Physical Description:    You can get a list of distinguishing features- scars, tattoos.

CHARACTER SKETCH

When you come to this option you have to draw a picture of your character in the frame. If you had adobe reader with you, the image will allow you to click on it. After clicking the image area you will get a pop-up message with “select icon” menu. If you want to place an image in this area by using your computer then you can use this.
