The barrier always protects which creatures are going to affect and most of the times it prevents all the creatures who are affecting the other creatures. If any creature affected with their opponents they can cast spells and make attacks with ranged or reach weapons through the barriers.

An affected creature always forced to pass through the barrier when you move, that’s it the spell ends.
