Adult Bronze Dragon Monster D&D 5e (5th Edition)

According to bronze dragon 5e lore, they are fierce and dangerous looking creatures with their entire body and its scales having a reflective bronze color. The adult bronze dragon 5e personality is of good and kind nature despite being so hostile in terms of appearance.


  • Amphibious:  Adult bronze dragonborn 5e can easily breathe in air or water.
  • Legendary Resistance(3/Day): If the ancient bronze dragon miniature fails to perform a saving throw successfully, it can choose to succeed instead in it.


  • Multiattack: Adult bronze dragons are allowed to use its Frightful Presence and also make 3 attacks- one using its bite and other two with its claws.

1. Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (2d10 + 7) piercing damage plus 5 (1d10) lightning damage.

2. Claw: Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d6 + 7) slashing damage.

3. Tail: Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d8 + 7) bludgeoning damage.

  • Frightful Presence: Each and every creature of the dragon’s wish also in the range of 120 feet from the dragon and aware of its presence should take a successful DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for a single minute. The creature can perform the saving throw after each of its turns and ending the effect immediately on a successful throw. When the effect of Frightful presence ends either by duration or by the creature evading it successfully with a saving throw, it gets immunity to it for the next 24 hours.
  • Breath Weapons(Recharge 5-6): The dragon utilises one of the following breath weapons.
    Lightning Breath: The dragon breathes out lightning in a range of 90 feet length and 5 feet width. Any creature that is inside the area of the lightning breath has to take a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw, on failing the throw it will take 66(12d10) lightning damage or half of it on a successful save.
    Repulsion Breath: The dragon puffs out repulsifying force of energy in conical area of 30 feet. Any creature in the area will have to perform a DC 19 Strength saving throw and on failing it they will be knocked back from the dragon by 60 feet.
  • Change Shape: The dragon takes the form of a humanoid creature or of a beast with a Challenge rating similar to its and in no way higher than his own, or it goes back to its true form. It can also revert back to its original form on death. Any equipment that the dragon carries will be absorbed by its new form(of the dragon’s choice) and carried by it instead. The dragon still continues to have its original Alignment, Hit Points, Legendary Resistance, Lair Actions, Hit Dice, ability to speak, proficiencies, and Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores in its new form. Only its statistics and capabilities are replaced by the new form except class features and legendary actions of that form.

Legendary Actions

The dragon takes 3 legendary actions from below and any one can be used at a time only after another creature’s turn. Legendary actions spent are restored at the start of the dragon’s each turn.

  • Detect: The dragon checks its target for Wisdom(perception).
  • Tail Attack: The dragon can make a tail attack.
  • Wing Attack (Costs 2 Actions): The dragon starts flapping its wings and any creature within 10 feet will need to take a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw or take 14(2d6 + 7) heavy damage and knocked down. The dragon can then also fly for half its flying speed.
