Arcane Hand 5e

You make a huge hand of shimmering, translucent force in an empty space that you can see within range. This hand moves when you give it a command. It copies the movements of your hand and lasts for the spell’s duration. The hand is a type of object which has AC 20. Its hit points are equal to your hit point maximum. The Arcane Hand 5e spell ends when it drops to 0 hit points. The strength of the hand is 26 (+8) and Dexterity 10 (+0). It does not fill its space.

As a bonus action on your subsequent turns andafter casting the spell, you can move the hand up to sixty feet. This can cause the following effects with it.

Clenched Fist–The hand can strike on any object which is within 5 feet of it. Using your game statistics you can make a melee spell attack. When the hand hit a target, that target takes 4d8 force damage.

Forceful Hand–The hand tries to push a creature or object that is within 5 feet of it in a direction that is chosen by you. Make a check with the strength of hand contested by the Strength check of the target. You have the advantage on check in case the target is smaller or medium. So, if you succeed, the target will be pushed by the hand up to 5 feet plus a number of feet equal to five times your spellcasting ability modifier. The hand always moves with the target so that it can remain within the 5 feet of the target.

Grasping Hand–The hand tries to grapple any creature or object which is within 5 feet of it. To resolve the grapple you can use the Strength Score of the hand. In case of medium or smaller target, you have an advantage on the check. When the hand is grappling a target, you can use a bonus action to crush that target with hand. If you do so, the damage that target gets is equal to 2d6 + your spellcasting ability modifier.

Interposing Hand–The hand interposes itself between you and the target or creature you choose. It continues to do so until you give it a different command. The hand provides you half coverage by staying between you and the target. If the Strength score of the target is equal or less than the hand’s Strength score, the target cannot move through the hand’s space. But in case the Strength score of the target is higher than hand’s strength score, it can move toward you through the hand’s space, but that space is difficult terrain for the target.

At Higher Levels–When you use a spell slot of 6th level or higher for casting this spell, the damage from the clenched fist option increases by 2d8 and the damage from grasping hand increases by 2d6 for each slot level above 5th.
