Feral Tiefling

The feral tiefling is a planetouched humanoid that descends from the fiendish planes (think demons, Ygoliths, devils, evil deities, etc.) and whose bloodline was infused with the essence of Asmodeus, overlord of the Nine Hells. Despite this history, tieflings are not exclusively evil and often vary in their alignment as normal humans.

Tieflings are infamous for their cunning and often charismatic nature, making them excellent deceivers. Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Darkvision: Due to your infernal planetoughed heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet f you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You cannot discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Hellish Resistance: You have resistance to fire damage.

Infernal Legacy: You know the thaumaturgy cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you gain the ability to cast the hellish rebuke spell as a 2nd-level spell; you can only cast hellish rebuke once per long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the darkness spell once per long rest.

Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and Infernal.

Infernal Wrath: Tieflings channel their infernal wrath in battle to improve their odds of victory. When channeling their infernal wrath, you gain a +1 bonus to your next attack roll against an enemy that hit you since your last turn. If your attack hits, your Charisma modifier is added as additional damage.

Some tieflings also gained a better understanding of their fiendish power, unlocking greater potential and sprouting wings from their back. Additionally, some tieflings have the innate ability to cast the darkness spell, though not all tieflings may be capable of this.

Appearance
